Upon your arrival in Beijing, our
tour guide will meet you at Beijing airport. After claiming
your luggage, you will easily find our guide holding a
welcome sign with your name on it. Transfer to your hotel. |

+ Lunch + Dinner)
Visit the the Imperial Palace (Forbidden
City), the Tiananmen Square and the Summer Palace. Enjoy
the Beijing Duck Dinner and the Peking Opera in the evening.
Forbidden
City: Built between 1406 and 1420, the Forbidden City
was the palace of the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties,
a period extending over 500 years. The atmosphere created
by the many temples, halls and courtyards - not to mention
the colors of the tiles, roofs and painted wood - is unique,
leaving you with a lasting impression of imperial China.
The palace has over 9000 rooms.
Tian'anmen
Square: The heart of urban Beijing and large enough
to accommodate an assembly of one million people. It stands
in front of the Forbidden City, at its north the Tiananmen
Rostrum, from which imperial decrees were promulgated.
Summer
Palace: The best preserved and the second largest
royal garden in China, with a history of over 800 years.

After breakfast, take an excursion
to the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Ming Tombs.
Mutianyu
Great Wall: Located in Huairou County in the suburbs
of Beijing, the section of wall at Mutianyu Great Wall
is 70 km from the center of Beijing. Connected with
Juyong Pass in the west and Gubeikou in the east, it
is one of the best preserved parts of the Great Wall
and was originally set up to attract some of the crowds
away from Badaling.
Ming
Tombs: 13 emperors of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644)
were buried here with their splendid treasures.

Pay a visit to Tanzhe Temple and
Temple of Heaven.
Tanzhe
Temple: A Buddhist temple built on a hillside and
consists of various pavilions, prayer halls, courtyards
and a group of pagodas dating from the Yuan, Ming and
Qing dynasties. At one time, it was one of the most important
temples in the nation.
Temple
of Heaven: a masterpiece of architecture and landscape
design which simply and graphically illustrates a cosmogony
of great importance for the evolution of one of the world's
great civilizations, and had a profound influence on architecture
and planning in the Far East over many centuries. |

Tour to the Fragrant Hills Park,
the White Cloud Taoist Temple, Yonghegong Lama Temple,
and Confucius Temple. Take a Hutong tour at Shichahai
in the evening.
Fragrant
Hills Park: The park is situated in the east part
of the western hills, In 1186, in the Jin Dynasty, Fragrant
Hills Park Temple was built and terraces, pavilions and
pagodas were added by the subsequent dynasties. The area
was later converted into a park and was named the Park
of Tranquility and Pleasure.
White
Cloud Taoist Temple: In the 8th century, the Tian
Chang Temple was built in Beijing to house a statue of
Lao Tzu. Although it burned down in 1202, the statue was
saved . In 1224, Genghis Khan ordered the reconstruction
of the temple. It came to be known as the White Cloud
Temple. Today it is one of China's oldest and largest
Taoist temples, housing the office of Taoist Association
of China.
Yonghegong
Lama Temple: The only temple in Beijing to have its
own subway stop, also called Yonghe Lamasery, or Yonghe
Gong, is the most handsome and impressive Buddhist temple
in the city. The Lama Temple was originally the residence
of prince Yongzheng, who later became Emperor. His mansion
was converted into a temple in 1744 after he ascended
the throne. One of the most prominent features of the
temple is a huge, 23-meter-tall Maitreya Buddha, which
was carved from the trunk of a white sandalwood tree.
Confucius
Temple: The Temple of Confucius in Beijing is located
on Guozijian Street, inside Anding Gate. The Temple of
Confucius was initially built in 1302 and additions were
made during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Temple has
a 600-year-old history. Compared with the Confucius Temple
in Qufu, Shandong Province, it is the second largest temple
constructed for Confucius, the greatest thinker and educationist
in ancient China.
Shichahai:
Shichahai is Beijing's most popular hutong
district, composed of the homes of Qing Dynasty merchants
and aristocrats.The area is made up of three man-made
lakes, Qianhai (Front Sea), Houhai (Back Lake), and Xihai
(West Sea Lake). |

Visit Beihai Park and Beijing Zoo.
Transfer to the airport for your departure, end of service.
Beihai
Park: This classically elegant palace garden is one
of China's oldest and largest imperial gardens. Beihai
Park lies to the northwest of the Palace Museum and was
built in the 10th century. The park has many remnants
from the Ming dynasty (1368-1644AD), including the White
Dagoba (a Tibetan style temple), the Round City and Jade
Island. The White Dagoba on Jade Island, is the visual
spectacle of the park and visitors can admire it from
many vantage points.
Beijing
Zoo: Home to over 7,000 animals of more than 600 species.
